The lord of the jungle is indeed the elephant and not the tiger as many believe . Elephants in the wild call for more caution than any other animal.
Elephants have figured in our mythology and have been a part of Indian life for three thousand years. Ganesha the elephant headed Hindu god is worshipped as a harbinger of good luck and prosperity. Elephants are a common sight on our roads and temples and as a source of power still find use in forestry operations.
Forests of South India are well known for their elephant populations Nagarhole and Periyar are two noted national parks where elephants roam freely with other animals like tiger , leopard , gaur, monkeys and deer . The lake at Periyar enables one to explore its forests on motor boats which allows close and safe observations of elephant and other animals . while at Nagarhole trained elephants and four wheeled drives takes one to the park.
Day 01 : Banglore / Mysore :
Morning drive to Mysore.
Day 02 : Mysore / Nagarhole :
Sight seeing in Mysore city . Drive to Nagarhole sanctuary. Afternoon jungle excursion.
Day 03 : Nagarhole :
Jungle drives and elephant rides.
Day 04 : Nagarhole :
Jungle drives and elephant rides.
Day 05 : Nagarhole / Bangalore / Kochi(Cochin), Periyar :
Drive top Bangalore. Fly to Kochi (Cochin) and drive to Periyar sanctuary.
Day 06 : Periyar :
Boat rides and nature walks.
Day 07 : Periyar / Kochi(Cochin) :
Drive to Cochin to connect onward flight.

Elephant Safari Tour Package in Corbett National Park
Day 01 : Arrive / Delhi :
On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi :
Morning city tour of New Delhi covering Laxmi Narayan Temple – The Place of Gods, India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House – The government head quarters. Afternoon city tour of Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid - The largest mosque in Asia, Red Fort - The red stone magic, Gandhi memorial – The memoir of father of the nation. Also enjoy the sound & light show in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi – Corbett :
Mornng drive to Jim Corbet national Park. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon have lunch and proceed for a jungle ride on Jeep. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Corbett – Lohachor :
06.30 hrs: Half hour drive towards north to Durga Devi. With packed lunch ride on the Elephant and commence a whole Day Safari (15 kms). Packed lunch enroute. In the evening arrive Lohachor for Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 : Lohachor – Ratwadhap :
06.30 hrs: Have breakfast then proceed on your sojourn with packed lunch. Whole Day Elephant Safari. Arrive Ratwadhap for hot dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 : Ratwadhap – Haldupura :
06.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for the whole Day Elephant safari with packed lunch. Arrive Haldupura for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07 : Haldupura - Corbet :
Early morning take a Jeep ride or Elephant ride, return back to the place for Breakfast. After a couple of hours to relax, return back to Corbet. Dinner and Overnight at Corbet.
Day 08 : Corbett – Delhi :
Early morning drive back to Delhi, On arrival check in into hotel. Rest of the time free for last minute shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Departure Delhi :
Transfer to Airport to catch International flight.
